Sometimes I think that tv-series/movies could provoke some of us in so many different ways. I can't say everyone but it does to me. Different tv shows intrigued me in different things for a span of time which could depend on the length of the whole show running time or a longer while after that. There are a certain series of things that attract me for a specific time period. Like, take "The Big Bang Theory" as an example. While I was watching that show I was kind of into food. Naturally, I am very much into food but at that time it was fancier than it ever has been. I'd take a plate full of something before starting any single episode and their way of eating would interest me more than ever. I could taste all the variety of flavors they were tasting in my taste bud. Or take "Sherlock" for example. Sherlocks deep intelligence, vigilance, observation power, analyzing skillset, and mostly his art of deduction these things that I practiced throughout the episodes and some times later after completing the show. I think till now I have watched a handful number of shows but less to compare because there will always be a lot. Below I am fun-discussing things that tv series made me do and things that stayed for a very long time with me.

  1. Sex and the city

This show interested me into the style of writing. The way Carrie Bradshaw would sit for think, clutch her hair, would look right in the thin air and again into her computer. I mean personally, I was not much of a fan of Carrie but how do these things work? Why I liked that specific part of her and tried to reshape me into it? Speaking of favorite character I was a fan of Miranda Hobbes. She is literally the sacred epitome of a brilliant, strongest, savage, single mother who can not only try to pick all the things in her hand but who is very honest with herself. She knew what she was doing even though there were phases when she acted a little cynical. But these, these were the things for why I loved her. Anyway back on the topic. Even more surprisingly I liked the way Carrie would light her cigarette and smoke to think and would sink in her mind palace. What is the thing with that? Me writing gibberish in this blog is 70% influenced by her.
